We arranged parcels for Lumi Mark I after updated the battery report.
The courier company replied that the latest airfreight regulation required an updated battery report of Lumi Mark I to proceed the customs clearance. This report was done for application, we arranged the parcel to backers who go for Lumi Mark I as replacement after receiving the report.

We arranged parcels for Lumi Mark I recently but not all parcels can be sent out successfully.
The courier company replied that the latest airfreight regulation required an updated battery report of Lumi Mark I to proceed the customs clearance. This report will take 3 – 4 weeks for application, we will arrange the parcel to backers who go for Lumi Mark I as replacement as soon as possible once receiving the report.

Well received 47% backers feedback replied from the google form since July 2020. 99% of the requested product replacement parcels were sent out. The remaining 1% replacement parcels are preparing by the delivery company.
The team is pleased to know that the backers who received Lumi Mark I felt satisfied
As a committed startup, we strike all efforts to complete the production of Lumi Mark II. We do not have an intention to let this project fail. Various possible ways to continue the project are still exploring.

Option 1: Replace Lumi Mark II by Lumi Mark I.
The function of Lumi Mark I and II are the same as Lumi Mark II, multiple device control function for Lumi Mark II is unlocked. They are different from the material applied and the mini tripod part. We could arrange Lumi Mark I shipment to you immediately once received the reply form.

Sorry for the late update and inconvenience caused. We have been struggling to speed up the production and seeking ways to minimize the impact on you all.

Herewith some updates for your perusal.
Manufacture status
The factory is not able to modify the final version as per standard, our engineer team inspected delicately. Production material will be arranged when these issues are solved. The manufacturing cost is increased as the production lead time is extended.
The body is sunken.
The surface is not smooth and with scratch.
The legs of the tripod are not parallel and the edge is scraped.
The internal structure was not able plugin screws.
Packaging size
The packaging size and material are adjusting, 4 different sizes are trial so far. The packaging material cost is still too high, we are looking for material with reasonable price and sufficient protection.
Courier fee
Received the updated courier fee from the shipping company, due to the high demand for courier service, the fee per kg increased 5-10% in general. This has been a heavy burden towards us as most of the Lumi Mark II was sold at a deep discount price.
Counteroffer
It has been a tough year for all of us, affecting by the coronavirus. And since last year, we on hold some product launch events and exhibitions due to the social movement, and these greatly impact the income.

Dear Backers,
We sincerely would like to bring a high quality product to our backers and we are discussing with the factory for better solutions in terms of the appearance and the structure of Lumi Mark II.
Here is the update for the production, we are striving for better quality to offer you a good product and minimize the courier cost hoping this would cost you extra:

Mould being polished for better appearance. The one at the back is the previous version. The one in front is the updated version that the surface is much smoother.

Confirmed material for a better structure.
Comparing various materials to make sure Lumi Mark II is supportive to gear up to 2kg. Will go for material “1022”, on top, there will be matt finishing that will look the same as the mock-up version.

Minimizing Packaging design. The courier cost increased significantly that we have to minimize the package.
